We're proud to sponsor two rising stars of Middle Eastern Dance and Music, Tarik Sultan and Carmine Guida,in a day of classes that will get your toes tapping and your hips moving! We'll have classes for dancers *and* drummers - join us for an unforgettable day of great music & dance!
Tarik will teach an Egyptian Shaabi choreography, the popular Mid-East urban folk-based dance in the morning. Carmine & Tarik will combine forces to "Break it Down," a class for dancers and drummers in the afternoon! The first hour will be working with Carmine to learn some basic drum rhythms, followed bythe second hour of using those rhythms in a simple drum solo with Carmine & Tarik. Dancers and Drummers are all welcome!
Evening Hafla, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. featuring:

Plus workshop participants are invited to perform!
